What is indoor installation (CPE)

Indoor installation (CPE)
According to Infonetics Research, the global broadband CPE market, including modems, routers and gateways, will continue to grow in recent years. The integration of CPE products with VolP, security, home network and multimedia functions, as well as the popularity of DSL and the improvement of 802.11 wireless speeds, will promote the upgrading of CPE, thereby bringing new income.

Infonetics predicts that by the second quarter of 2006, global DSL CPE revenue will fall by 1%, while cable CPE revenue will increase by 5% over the same period. The growth of the latter is sufficient to offset the decline of the former. Today, 47% of global broadband CPE revenue comes from DSL products, 27% comes from routers, and 18% comes from cables.
